HELP.....Think I just f&^%ed up my Psylo Race[]D[][]v[][]D

I did some damage to my Psylo Race today and am bumming. I removed the legs to put on new wiper seals. There is a nut that attaches to a scraeder air vavle on the bottom of the right fork leg. When i re-attached the bolt, it seized onto the air valve and now the air valve just spins and spins and will not tighten all the way. I've tried plier, vice grips, etc......but nothing would grip the valve to prevent it from spinning so I could tighten the nut. And to make matters worse I think I stripped the air valve from trying to grip it b/c I couldn't even screw my air pump onto it to see if it would hold air.

2 Questions....

1) Anyone have any experience with Psylo Race maintenence and have any suggestions for me.

2) If it is not repairable, anyone know who I can send it to for the repair work? I'd rather not send it to RS b/c I can't afford a month of down time. I know MBACTIOn often makes reference to a repair house that they use.

Thanks for reading

I am pretty sure you would need to replace the shaft/piston assembly. IIRC, the air valve is crimped onto the chromed shaft. LBS should be able to order the part (look up the number in the service manual). Just be prepared for sticker shock.
