I have a MZ pro/ eta and only seem to get 90mm travel out of it. MZ say its a 105mm fork.Im meauring from the top of the rubber seal. is that right or should I measure from the top of the fork leg?

Yep you are doing it correctly--from the top of the rubber seal. It looks like you have full travel b/c there is always extra stanchion tube ahowing to prevent the seals from hitting the crown.
