Swinger SPV shock problem(5 posts)

Swinger SPV shock problemPTG

I got the swinger 4-way shock about a week ago with my new bike. The blow-off chamber's valve stem was loose so I got a tool and tightened it. After a short ride I realized that the blow-off chamber still isnt holding any pressure. Has anyone had a similar experience? If you did, what did you do about it? (Besides getting a replacement from Manitou/Answer)

Man It seems alot of people are having this problem. I had the same problem and tightened it down and still leeked. Go to any bike store and get new peace that goes into valve. It should not cost over a dollar. It worked on mine. Make sure and test first by putting some spit on vavle and compress shock to see if in fact that's were it's leeking. Good luck David

When you say "New Piece that goes into valve", do you mean the valve stem?
I think he's talking about the valve core. [NM]AndyH
