Oct 10, 2003 4:59 PM | | Have a 2000 Santa Cruz Heckler-XL -Fox Vanilla Float RC and Marzoc Z2 Bam up front- XT with SRAM 9.0 shifters -King Headset-White Bros. Hubs/wheels. Have maintained the bike well but now the rear shock needs a rebuild(Estimate $60-100 thru Fox). Thinking of upgrading the bike to some nicer shocks. IDEAS and suggestions welcome. More travel would be nice. I guess $500-700 for new front and rear is about right... Are my old shocks worth much? What about selling the whole bike and saving for the blur like the rest of you junkies? What can I fetch for this 3 year old Heckler??? Thanks
