| Romic rebound damping | PaulS. Oct 11, 2003 6:14 AM | | I am riding a Ventana Pantera with a Romic rear shock. The Romic rebound adjustment doesn't seem to do much. The shock rebounds at the same rate whether the adjuster is all the in or out. Has anyone else experienced this with the Romic? I emailed Romic a few days ago but have yet to receive a response. |
| The adjustment should be very noticable | WarrGuru Oct 11, 2003 7:25 AM | | The shock should go from full fast to taking a couple of seconds to fully rebound. I thought that I had the problem you describe, but then realized that I wasn't turning the adjustment far enough. There are quite a few clicks and some require a little more force.
If you're not getting slow rebound at full CCW onthe red rebound knob....something is wrong. Try to see if the knob turns farther.....don't force it. I guess you have nothing to lose. Either the knob will continue turning, giving you more rebound or you might turn it too far, but that would indicate that it was broken anyway. |
