NRS woes continue....clunky shock.spangelsaregreat

Hi,

I am one of the many posters who had problems with the shock bushings on my NRS Team frame. After huge delays Giant UK finally replaced the bushings and they now appear to be of the correct size and there is no play in them.

However, today I took the bike out for a proper test ride. Once I started to ride on some rough stuff I noticed a clunk coming from the shock itself. At first I thought it might be the bushing problem returning but there is no play in them at all.

It seems as the shock starts to run through its travel it clunks. It is although there is something momentarily stopping it before it continues moving. I would guess this stickion point is about half way through the travel. It definately is not bottoming out that is making the clunking sound.

The shock is set up as per Giants guide lines in both chamders. It seems to work okay in terms of it still soaks up the terrain. It just clunks while doing it.

The bike is going back to my LBS tomorrow but if anybody has had similar troubles I would be interested to find out.

Regards
