Can someone tell me how to set up the preload and damping on a 98 Marzocchi Z2?

The preload sets your ride height. Use it so you've got around 1/4 of your travel as sag.

The only damping adjustment you have is rebound. Turn it until the fork feels about right, not too fast, not too slow.
