| New Magura forks look pretty cool... | Tscheezy Oct 14, 2003 10:23 AM | | I know nothing about them, but the pictures sure are interesting! Check out the split arch:
and the knobs I bet I would snap off on the first rock:

| If you find info on the gray one, please let me know... | Mario Oct 14, 2003 10:47 AM | | The gray one in the back (Phaon) is one that interests me very much. It's the 04 version of the Quake CP125, 90-125mm adjustable travel, coil/oil, 30mm stanchions (but supposedly stiff!). It is the fork that was in this UK mag bike review that "proclaimed" the 5-spot the ultimate trail bike a few weeks ago (the article was posted here...).
Anyway, if you find any info it's performance or on price/availability in North America, I would appreciate it.
Thanks. |
| I'd Call that Split Arch a "Leaf Trap" | Mud Oct 14, 2003 5:11 PM | | Ride that fork with the fall foliage and you're going to have a lot of leaves trapped under there! |
| BTW- it's a 150mm travel SINGLE CROWN in 1.5 OR 1 1/8(!) | Tscheezy Oct 15, 2003 9:21 PM | | I wouldn't have guessed that from the pic, but look at this article at BikeMagic (UK) and read up a little. Does it weigh less than the (porky) Z 150? |
