Lefty Wheel Removal/Fork Adapterlaxman1100

How easy/hard is it to remove the wheel on a lefty? I'm thinking about getting a F900SX w/ a lefty fork, and I've heard nothing but great things about them, but I'm worried about a fork mount adapter and if it's a major pain removing the wheel.

How do I actually remove the hub/axle? Is it a problem w/ Disc brakes?

I had a lefty Max on my Gemini 1000. I no longer have the bike but great fork. Any way if your just talking about taking the wheel off its so easy. On the wheel you us a hex to unscrew bolt. The screw will stay on the wheel when its loose all the way. The wheel comes off and just goes back on by slinding it back on the thing that looks like a cone. Just tighten her up and ride. One thing I liked about it if you got a front flat you dont haft to remove wheel. Just slide the tire off repair and slide on. I dont know if I exspained it so you can understand but dont worry its so easy. Hope this helps a little.

does the entire axel come out fo the dropout making it easy to remove with the rotor on there? Or does it slide off the axel. In essence, can the wheel be removed without having to mess with the brake caliper and rotor?

Ya I for got you do need to take brake off so you can slide wheel off. I gues it makes up for it when you change a front flat. Good Luck
