Cane Creek AD12 are the internals different for each bike?nrsbiker

I'm thinking of buying one used, the eye to eye size is right, but besides the mounting shims, I'm wondering if they are valved differently for each application. Are the internals different for the one setup for an NRS different than say one setup for a Fuel?
Any help would be appreciated
John
The volume adjuster plate may be in a different position...næstep

...but Cane Creek has told me they're otherwise the same (and the volume plate can be moved between three positions pretty easily with just a half-hour or so of your time).

I questioned them on it because on their exploded view diagram they show some incomplete part numbers on the rebound rod, but they've indicated that it varies in length with the piston shaft and the main cylinder and that I need not worry.

So as long as you've got the correct eye-to-eye and correct stroke (160mm and 1.2", I believe) you'll be ok.

And to further set your mind at ease, Rock Shox used a very common shim stack to set the valving on the NRS Sids — nothing out of the ordinary with that shock, either.
