Rear Rock Shock Sid ???mtnbikerdude87

Hello all,

I have a 2003 NRS 2 and recently Rock Shox replaced the Sid rear sock with a new one. I just went down to the LBS yesterday and as I was compressing the shock I notice a "sloshy" noise as the shock was moving upwards. I asked the mechanic if this was normal and he said Yes. He said that that is the sound of the oil going through the holes inside of the shock (I believe thats wut he said) He also said that there would be a break-in time beofre the shock gets settled in. Just wanting to hear your input on this matter.

thxs,

He is right, as long as the shock feels right, besides the sound. My 5th Element coil is way louder than the Float that it replaced on my Gemini.
