Fox Forx Vanilla: less "clunk" at 80 than 100/125?billrick

I am thinking about ordering a Vanilla 125 RL but the reports of the "clunk" noise has me concerned. It seems that all of the noise reports have been with the forks set at 100 or 125. Can anyone with experience confirm? I'll be setting the fork up at 80mm since it will be on a ti hardtail. I'll be bummed if I spend that much money and get a clunky one. Thanks!
My 02=no clunk in any setting. My 03=clunk@125, no clunk@100. nmTscheezy

Mine clunks at 125mm, but it's not too annoying. Only does it on uphills. Haven't tried it at other travel settings. I ride a 5-Spot that was designed for that length. -- PC
