Manitou X-Vert DC oil change...Homebrew

I'm changing the oil in a 2001 X-Vert DC. How much oil are you supposed to put in the TPC?

With fork extended, (left side spring stack fully assembled), compression damping assembly removed from right leg, recommended measurement from top of crown to oil level is 8 inches. No volume is given. They allow for an inch either way (oil can be as low as 9" from crown, or as high as 7" from crown).

BTW, the '00 manual calls for 9" recommended (?).

8" from the top, that's easy enough.
No problem. If you want the manual....chris2fur
