| Any 6" forks with QR? | duc135 Jan 14, 2004 10:37 AM | | Are there any 6" forks out there that use the standard QR? I currently have a 2003 Marzochi Z1 FR SL and love it, but was considering a 6" for for my new bike (possibly a SC Bullit). The issue I have is that the bike tray on my car (Thule V2) can only accomodate forks with the standard QR and buying another tray is out of the question.

| just make an adaptor.... | zedro Jan 14, 2004 4:54 PM | | like a fake dropout that bolts to your 20mm axle. Cus the only good 6" sc forks out there have 20mm axles. |
| correct. | FM or MF Jan 15, 2004 4:26 PM | | Grab one of those hurricane adaptors, put it on your qr-20 fork, and insert your old QR wheel. You may need an adaptor for your rotors.
Now you have adjustable wheelbase and head angle too!
(I'm just kidding, DO NOT TRY THIS!!!) |
