SPV shocks for Scalple?happybiker

A friend of mine has just got a Scalple 800 and was wondering if it's possible to put an SPV type shock on it, I've never seen one fitted, any thoughts?
Fox does make a ProPedal model in that size...Damion

the size for 2004 is 5.5" eye to eye, with a 1" stroke. Double check on the 2003 shock size, but I think it is the same. Perhaps if he is VERY competitive and races to make the podium, then do it. Other than that, the Scalpel is already an efficient (sp?) ride. They may only be available through a Cannondale dealer, because of the limited # of bikes that will uae that size. DT Swiss is also making that size shock. The Fox is on the 900 and the 2000, and the DT Swiss is on the 3000 and Team bike. The Swiss is lighter. Later.
