03'Z1-FR = 5.3lbs
03'Z1-FR QR20 = 5.7lbs
03'Z1-SL (air)= 4.5lbs
03'Z150 = 7lbs not including axle
04'Z1-FR = 6lbs
04'Z150 = 6.5lbs not including axle

| And Larry, add one more on Z150 SL. | TNC Jan 17, 2004 6:08 AM | | That 5 lb., 2.4 oz. (you do the math for conversion to tenths if necessary) is a righteous weight on our digital shop scale. I get no subsidies from Marzocchi to pack any of their fork weights. In fact we were all blown away at the shop by the fact that this SL model was lighter than my '03 Firefly (5lbs., 5.6oz--same scale), weights on both forks with uncut steerers and 20mm axles in place. One of the posters here though I mistakingly might own a Flick--negative...it was a titanium spring when I took it apart for service. Gravity can't be fooled, no matter how much weight-weenie-itis we are stricken with. |
| '04 Z1 SL? | CrashTheDOG Jan 18, 2004 4:05 PM | | Do you have the weight of an '04 Z1 SL? Is there a weight increase from the '03? Similar to the '03 Z1 FR to the '04 Z1 FR? Why the increase from '03 to '04 with the FR? |
