I want to put the rebound cartridge and air caps from a 2001 X-fly into a 2000 CR Z-1, converting the Z-1 into an air fork.
Will this work? Is the Z-1 sealed off enough to hold air pressure? This is the older model with the bolt on brake bridge. I realize we're only talking 20 or 30 psi here, but I want to make sure this is doable before I start ripping into both forks.
