Z1 drop off comp modsBKMad

Hi,
I'm thinking of buying the 04 model kona stinky. However if I buy it I would like to upgrade the drop off comp forks. I have a set of 5in Z1 BAM forks (99 model) that I really like. I was wondering if it's possible to swap the damping cartriges from the old Z1 BAM to the drop off's?
I tried looking for the drop off comp manuals on the Marzocchi website, but they don't seem to show how to disassemble their forks in the manuals any more so I couldn't figure this one out myself.

Oops, I meant kona coiler, not the stinky
why not swap the entire fork?...zedro

at a bare minimum you'll need new top caps from a cartridge model fork with the 32mm stanchions. Also the lower leg interface might not work.
I did consider that but...BKMad

I did consider that but I thought the extra stiffness of the new fork might be nice. If I get the bike I'll take both forks apart and see if it'll work I guess.
