Ok, so here I am the weekend before the sea otter coming up and I have to go on XC ski trip. I haven't been on skiis this entire winter. What should be my strategy for the trip, go hard and try and get as much high altitute training as possible? or go as easy as I can, keeping the HR low. Hmmmm. This week, I've been doing just short, but hard rides.

thanks,
UB

My unscientific response would be stop thinking so hard. Enjoy your ski trip. You have a week to recover (I presume hard efforts will be kept to a minimum in the following week anyway). Have fun and do whatever the hell you feel like.
OK, your right, that's why I need this list (nm)ub

Go here: http://www.roadbikereview.com/Homecrx.aspx. You'll get better responses to your racing questions under Discussions / Racing.
Good luck and let me know how you like it.
