Triathalon Question(2 posts)

Triathalon QuestionTri-Newbie

I've entered my first sprint triathalon this summer.
I'm shooting to finish not place.
I have a question about the swim/bike transition.
I don't think I'm ready to wear one of those little Speedo "Grape Slingshots"
Can anyone recommend a good short for swimming and biking?
Thanks

For a sprint you can wear your regular bike shorts. The swim will probaly be 500-1000m out and back. Just be sure and use some Body-Glide on the sitbones before putting the shorts on.
Practice transition. I dont do the bikinis either, i use a inbetween short by desoto for longer swims. Desoto makes some biking shorts that shed water pretty good once done w/ the swim.
