|  Notice more improvement today. | sebring Dec 22, 2002 9:05 AM | | Just finished riding one of my favorite trails today and noticed improvement since the last time I went. I was able to make it up some of the longer hills with out stopping. My cardiac endurance and my leg endurance are both significantly better. Didn't take nearly as many rest stops as before, able to climb further, and an overall better ride. I think my average speed was about the same but considering I dropped about 20 minutes off my time for not stopping or having hike the bike as much I think I've improved. I may have been able to go faster but with recent rain I didn't want to go to hard on the soft trails and cause damage to the trail or myself. I want to thank everyone here for the tips.
I've been using a trainer a lot recently which helps since where I live now there aren't any hills, but when I go visit my parents where all the trails are, there's nothing but hills. |
