How to overcome fear of heights ( drops )Nab

Any suggestions?

That is more than I will ever do and bigger than I consider "usual" for XC riding. For me the hardest thing is learning to ride/jump something too high to roll.
I drop 4 feet! =pNab

Yup, i attempt the drop and i drop. hahahahahahaha..... i'm just trying to face my fears everytime. Guess the technique's still not there. 50% success rate

or be young and stupid. Nothing beats fear like good protection.

Nothing takes away the fear of falling down as much as doing it and realizing it doesn't hurt as bad as you thought because you are covered in gear. I slap on so much stuff I'm a mummy then go out and do crazy stuff. Endos still have a tendancy to hurt.

Jump off the drop and roll w/o your bike! Get familiar with it, then ride it. Have somebody around to dial 9-1-1...just in case.
