Looking for feedback on feel and durability of Titec foam...AZ X-Racer

...grips. I may be getting some of these 20g grips and the lightweight FSA stem (when it comes out) to further lighten up my ride, but wanted to get some reviews first. I'm currently using Bontrager Dual Desity grips that weigh exactly 60g.

I used mine for a season and they were nice and light (16g/pair). They aren't nearly as sticky as my Yeti Hardcores (68g/pair), but they are a fraction of the weight. The only problem I had with them was due a rip in the grip near the end of the handlebar as a result of a crash. The rip gradually progressed until the grip was useless.

Now, I'm currently using a set of Ritchey TGV grips which are 67g/pair on my geared bike and a pair of Yetis on my singlespeed.

I put them on with hair spray (on to a Easton EA70 bar) and when I went to change my bar they had to be cut off by my lbs because they couldn't blow them off with compressed air. Since then I have gone with some Tomac extra light rubber grips (weigh in at 36 grams for the pair) and am more satisfied because of the easy of changes and nice and grippy.

Thanks,

Jag

...and I loved them too! Everyone around here has told me that they don't make them anymore. Are they still available? Where can I still get some? Maybe I could send you some cash for a pair or two...
I think I can help.... drop me an emailJAG

i even like my titecs , i use grip shift so they are shorter and just 13 gramms . i tighten it in the bar (carbon) with hair lack and that works well...

durability is not the best , so i have to change the grips every season

but they are not soo expensive
