| Ultimate racing bike..... | bigbon Nov 2, 2001 7:30 PM | | I weigh 130 and when I get the money will build a new xc race weapon. I want the weight to be around 20 pounds. I dont want any euro stuff or crazy stuff on it. Need it to be durable. Please give me some feedback. Here is what im thinking so far. Any suggestions?

| re: Ultimate racing bike..... | bigbadbri Nov 5, 2001 2:42 PM | | Here is the bike I am building. SHould be just under to right about 20lbs. Of course you can use different frame/fork and other parts that weigh pretty similar. I am slightly lighter than you, and went just with parts with a nice balance of weight, dollars, and definitely reliability. No stupid parts, no sacrificing comfort or reliabiltiy so that I can brag on the "sunday morning ride"... just a super fast ride. Can't wait to get it on the damned trail!
