16 ounces = 1 pound

28.349375 grams to an ounce

28.349375 x 16 = ....wait for it.....453.59

those little numbers after the dot soon add up!

...I was wondering where you guys got the extra 5.39 grams. Guess I'l grab a textbook next time before I go misleading folks with "approximate guesstimations".
