Flite Gel Ti(3 posts)

Flite Gel Tiberni
Nov 5, 2001 7:58 AM
Have just bought a Selle Italia Flite Gel with Ti rails, and am very disappointed to find that it weighs about 280g. I also have the Selle Italia Trans Am Ti (the one with the hole in the middle) and that weighs a not very spectacular 245g.

Has anyone found that Selle's saddles vary in weight quite a bit? Do I have a duff Flite Gel? (i.e. above average weight?)

Any idea how the SLR would compare comfort wise to these two? (I weigh 60kg and am 31, so I'm no grandpa!)
SLR is way more comfortable than it looks (nm)Ytse

SLR is much more comfortable than it looks, I had the pure carbon SLR with no padding (95g?) and it was like sitting on a slab of wood, it lasted about 1 or 2 days (honest no exageration) before I found it unusable, I am used to a standard filte and found the SLR to be absolutely fine, try it you will be suprised
