Sid XC 60mm -> 80mm travel, Weight Savings??JD
Jan 15, 2002 10:10 PM
Has anyone with a Rock Shox SID XC changed the travel from 2.5" (60mm) to 3.5" (80mm) (by removing the spacers inside)? I've been wanting to do this for quite a while, but am a little worried about opening up the fork. Is this an easy job?

How much weight savings are we talking (i.e., how much do the spacers weigh?) BTW, I'm not doing this for weight savings, I would just like a little more travel.

Thanks,

-Jonas
