I have a Sola, Seven Stem,Titec 118 ti bar, Marwi Spokes, ti KING crown race, misc ti bolts everyhwere, now, I just need a light ti seatpost. I was looking at USE alien ti, Titec Xwing ti, those seem the lightest. all the others (moots,litespeed,dean...) those guys are alright, but they weigh too much especially for the length of the post. I was wanting something arounf 350 ish. thanks guys.

I already have the USE Alien Carbon post and I'm very disappointed. it's not 166g~!!!!! it's 193g~!!! i weighed it myself. 25.0mm 350mm, 193g~! the shim is 23g~!!!!! rediculous~!!! they're freak'n lying~! I've called them and E-mailed them and they've only responded one time asking where I saw for it advertised at 166g. I showed them the place on the website and they never responded since. haha...what do you think of that crap~!?
Dean Ti post around 200gmMH

My Dean ti post has been great for the two plus years its been on my bike. Very compliant yet strong. hasn't bent yet even though the tubing is scary thin. Seat clamp is simple and effective. No worries and saves the lower back some of the pounding. Havn't weighed it yet but have seen weights posted around 190-200 grams.

Happy trails....

I have the Use Alien Ti and it is the lightest Ti now. I replaced my Syncros Ti post with it because it has about 3/4 inch setback and I wanted a little more room. The seat mounting/adjustment system isn't the easiest to use but I figured once I set it correctly, I wouldn't be playing with it.
Try pmparse high nose low

PMP make a very good seatpost around the 200g mark depending on the diameter you want. the lightest is about 196g. Try www.tiramisu.co.uk it's mainly road stuff but I've been using a PMP post for over a year with no probs at all. I'm guessing your american but they deal with america all the time so there's no probs with shipping.
Would help to know what Diameter post you need...DeeEight

but I use a Syncros Ti 27.0 x 330mm on one of my bikes that's 180 grams, and I also have a new Ballistic Ti 26.8 x 350mm post that's unused and sitting on a workbench that's 210 grams.
OK scream 5204 but its still lighter than my thomson elite!marco righetti
