is it reliable?
As far as I know, Marco, nobody has a "production" 113mm yet...AZ X-Racer

He is still overseasworking out some details about the new adjustable design that will allow it to be used with both 68mm and 73mm BB shells.

I found out yesterday that the FRM ISIS BBs won't be available here in the US until sometime this spring either. We are truly suffering for choices of ultra-lightweight ISIS BBs... :o)

You could still pay and go with FSA... or sacrifice some more grams and go with the 188g RaceFace Ti ISIS BB...
Just ordered an FSA Ti......berni

.....ISIS BB 73/113mm. Will post weight when it arrives.

Also ordered the FSA Carbon Pro crankset 22-32-44 175mm cranks in ISIS.

Think this may be the first ISIS one sold in US!

Should be about 580g + 165g + 20g (bolts) = 765g.

Thought alot about crankset choice - so much in fact I have a headache.

Had narrowed it down to Middleburn RS8, 620g, of CNC beauty, but not quite ready in ISIS yet.

FRM too expensive - customer service hard to find....

Race Face Turbine LP good value - but found them a bit ugly....

Race Face Next LP - too expensive, too much hype....
That's what I'm going with too...SS_MB-7

I'm also going with the FSA combo: Carbon Pro crankarms only (175mm, standard, ISIS) with Ultimax Xtreme Pro Ti ISIS BB (68x113).

According to their claimed weights, the set-up should be approximately:
- crankarms: 415g
- BB: 158g
Total = 573g

My old set-up was:
- crankarms (Morati, 175mm, standard): 325g
- BB (Phil Wood Ti, 68x119): 188g
Total = 513g

Weight gain: 60g (0.13lbs)

M.

Just for the heck of it, right?

But one thing to consider: the longer chain need (full length I'm affraid, or even extended, will lose tension sooner due to wear.

Or am I mistaken, and does the higher toothcount compensate for that?

Whatever happens, it will look very cool, and might even produce a smoother ride.

Kees us posted, should you go through with this!
