If you own the older version/grease port hubs, is there a seal between the axle and the freehub body on your hub? Can you see the cartridge bearing where the grease comes spewing out?
My newer Shook Design hubs have a seal that takes up the space between the axle and freehub and I am curious about the older design.
Thanks

Nope, I took apart my front AC disk hub and it had no seals in it. I bought mine in Oct 01.

The inner bearings are not sealed. The quality of the bearings AC uses are very poor and can be replaced with ABEC 5 or 7s. You can purchase a nice set of ABEC 5s or 7s from http:\\www.speeddream.com for the AC.
