180lb rider, mostly xc on light fire trail washboard trail and street road. No heavy duty jump or cliff hanger stunt.
I have a 24h front...but then again, I'm 150lbs..not 180lbs.....scream5204

it's really up to you. I don't ride huge drops, pure XC only. I'm 150lbs and the 24h front has NEVER Been out of true~! you might be able to pull it off if you use 14/15 gauge 3x cross pattern. The one I have is 14/15 radial lace. but I'm going to rebuild it on Ti straight gaugue 2x cross. radial is just not bombproof.
Mu CrossRocs are 20h and I weigh about 160lbs...DIRT BOY

I weigh pretty close to 180lbs and run a three year old set of (tube version) crossmaxes - not the same as what you are talking about, but a fairly low spoke count nonetheless. I suppose I am too big for the wheel - at least according to most pundits - but they never go out of true. I race about 20 expert XC races a year on them... They are definitely more flexy for me than the intended riders though...
