I think thats what it says.....maybe he can switch to read grams next time for those of us that would just mess up the math in our heads.

2lbs, 14.4oz = 2.9lbs i think

me, I say, "it's a hair under 3lbs uncut"

my lowly scale doesn't do grams...
arg

funny how we use different weights for different parts..
i.e., we all go by grams for tires, hubs, stems, etc.. stuff typically under say 1.5 lbs
but for heavier stuff, forks, frames, etc.. we use pounds....

just in case anybody is confused my digi scales has=grms, lbs and lbs&oz so 2 lbs and 14 ozs=2.9 lbs.
2,144 grams = 4.7 lbs.RetroG

Could it be reading in grams? I think so, unless the fork is gutted or something.
or 2 lbs 14 ozs=2.9 lbs........marco righetti

hi retroG i understand that 2.144 grms+4.7 lbs but the scales on the picture is 2lbs.14ozs ie 16 ozs=1 lb thats if the scales are using the lbs&ozs you can also get just lbs which is .1of a lb or .2 of a lb or .3 of a lb etc,so once you get to .10 then it becomes a lb ie .10=1 lb.
didnt mean to sound like a teacher but it took me a while to get my head around the .1,.2,.3 as oppsosed to 1 oz,2 oz,3 oz.etc
