Is anyone runing standard tires with latex on a UST wheelset

If so how succesful has it been and what quantity of latex have you needed and have there been any issues with air seepage due to the bead moving from the rim

Thanks

I have Crossmax UST wheels bought specifically so I could use stan's system without all the hassle. I haven't tried stans yet with my crossmaxes but if I cannot find a lightweight ust tire, like 550g-600g, I will use stans this year. I got this off another guy's post. This is what velonews says:

In the latest velonews leonard zinn reviews stan's system and makes note of the difficulty he had with the tires when the beads were still wet and slick with the soap. It would seem to make sense that one should wait awhile before bringing the tire to full pressure. Zinn also noted that he had given up trying a 700c tire after several misadventures with the tire blowing off of the rims. He also indicates that UST rims seemed to be more suitable for stan's system because of the lip on the rim that helps stop the tire from separating from the rim. happy trails

He has Cross Max disc UST. He has had conventional IRCs, Kenda, and now Motoraptors mounted on these wheels. All of them worked. I'm using sealed conventional light wheelsets with UST tires. Both of our setups have worked without flaw, but he has had a little more trouble with air loss and puncture issues than I have. The tubeless seem a little more durable because of carcass design.
