how do you like the bolt-on skewers you have? Are they much of a pain?

Thanks!

BTW, which ones do you have?

I love them!
mine are some generic, taiwanese made "Mounty Special" and cost about 10$.they weigh 65g and make for a stiffer front end because they can be thightened stronger than any QR.I don`t have any problems with wheel removing...since i`m riding our tubeless i don`t have flats anymore and when wheel removal is needed all you need is a 5mm allen wrench.before i often "hurt" my fingers because i used to clamp those QRs to the max...so i had a hard time to open them on the trail.with these bolt-on skewers you have to carry a mini tool (which you do anyway) and normally every tool includes such a 5mm allen wrench.

don`t try the 48g Ti ones because they are really flexible.I have a set of Control-Tech Ti bolt-on axles somewhere in my garage...not even on my roadbike they were acceptable!

anyway:that`s some of the cheapest and best grams saved!they are lighter and clamp stronger for a stiffer ride...what could you ask more?
