Nobody wants to build me a ti spoke wheel.J-Bay

I called all the local shops and everone is trying to talk me out of a ti spoke wheel. Know any good wheel builders?

...I've got about a dozen rides and a couple of races on my wheelset from Mike G. and they have been flawless. They are flex free and have remained perfectly true through several pileups. Great person to deal with also, my next set of wheels will be another set from Mike.

It's not such a difficult task. Plus you'll have some fulfillment once completed.

Wonder if the local shops don't think they have the experience to build them up right?

Wonder if they got the impression that you destroy wheels on a regular basis (and $3 a spoke really can add up fast!). Not a slam on you, mind you, but on the whole stereotype thing.

I've got a set of Nuke Proof / Ti / Bonti's laced up. No problems even under my 200 lbs.

If you can't find local... lots of good reviews of Dave Speed Dreams, B4M, and Colorado Cyclist on here. Can't vouch for any of the above, started building my own wheels before using any of the above.

Built several, no problems , just rode a set last night 'perfect"
Hugi 240 hubs (disc)-Mavic 317 rim- "Marwi (14ga.) Ti spokes"-Marwi alloy nipples-
Light @1512 grams (disc)non disc in the low 1400 gram range-fast and stiff-Call Tony @E/T Cycle Center or vist the web site @www.etcyclecenter.com
