Mar 24, 2002 6:53 AM | | italian EXTRALITE is the lightest on the market.my big 34.9mm size weighs 14g incl. steel bolt.the smaller size weighs 12g.
on my new Scott i have the same design/size clamp but with a Aluiminium bolt: 12g.

I looked at the extralite site and I saw that their clamps were
'Available in the popular standard 31.8 and 34.9mm diameters.'
Does this mean I can't use one as my Klein's seat post is 31.6mm???

| If your Klein's seatpost is 31.6, then it will most likely need | AZ-X

Mar 24, 2002 10:35 PM | | my current Scott also has the big 31.6mm seatpost size.the clamp is the same 34.9 size as it was on my s-works last year that had a 30.9 seatpost.
to make sure just measure the outside diameter of the seattube where the clamp goes.
also check the seatpost on the Extralite website.it`s some of the lightest available in bigger sizes.
