I am curious how much my road skewers weigh...Helium QR's...Thus I would like to get a gram scale so I can obsess over these things...What is a good product that won't take too much out of my pocket?
You all talk about non QR skewers that weigh very little...Can I save weight and gain strength over the current Helium QR's...if so, where do I get them? Alan

It's digital, cheap, and damn accurate. Everyone said the '02 Sid Sl was 3.0lbs and mine came in @ 2.99lbs, so....it's accurate. Cooking section. My control tech Ti skewers are 48g...don't know about adding strength, though. DO a search on yahoo and you'll find a bunch of places with 'em. Cambria, bikepro.com, Excel, phat tire, etc.

...they are the same as the MyWeighs, very nice. They're on there all the time - 6lb or 13lb models. Probably under $30 if you're patient enough, I wasn't and still only paid $40 for the 13lb model. Works great for me.
