Where is the best place to "tune" or drill on my handlebars?AZ SRAM-head

Ive got some Hyperlites from 94 that weigh 149 grams but I think with some drilling I could get them down to 115 or so.

Should I drill close to the stem clamp or closer to the grip end of the bars?

Also, could I drill my rims out in between the existing spoke holes or do you think it would whistle when I rode fast?
Ever heard of Eddy Merckx?CKS

Rumor has it that Eddy Merckx, one of the greatest cyclists of all time, would drill holes in every conceivable place on his bike in an effort to make it lighter.

He would then make his training regimen more difficult by dragging heavy weights behind him as he rode...

Use a hacksaw and cut notches about 3/4 of the way through the bar. With enough notches, you'll get those bars down to at least 115 grams. Good luck and RIDE HARD!

Sheesh. How many more AZ nuts are out there?

I vote close to the stem, the more the better, by the way change your name I don't want people to confuse us.
