|  Where is the best place to "tune" or drill on my handlebars? | AZ SRAM-head Mar 25, 2002 4:02 PM | | Ive got some Hyperlites from 94 that weigh 149 grams but I think with some drilling I could get them down to 115 or so.
Should I drill close to the stem clamp or closer to the grip end of the bars?
Also, could I drill my rims out in between the existing spoke holes or do you think it would whistle when I rode fast? |

|  Right by the stem . . | pedalAZ Mar 25, 2002 7:30 PM | | Use a hacksaw and cut notches about 3/4 of the way through the bar. With enough notches, you'll get those bars down to at least 115 grams. Good luck and RIDE HARD!
