Since then I have become a big fan after my former hero in racing Emerson Fittapaldi called it quits. (Met him many times.)
Helio is the most down to earth and humble guy you could ever meet. He has autographed so many things for me.
He does not realize how big he is getting. When he jumps to Formula 1 he will be even bigger! Here in the US people are not as passionate about open-wheel racing. |

Quit racing early in 1998, took too much time (and $$$) with our little one turning three in two weeks. Yes, I miss the fun. Never a scratch in 20+ years of racing, but the MTB has given me broken bones! |
