| Duh,,, which way did he go george. | tankhead10 May 27, 2002 10:23 AM | | Sometimes the obvious is the last place I check. Thanks AZ-X I just placed the order on line. They mentioned the tools that would be needed are a Park Chainring lockring and bottom bracket tool. Is this one tool or is it two tools. IE Chainring lockring tool is one tool and a bb tool is another or is it one in the same or am I the tool? ;o)? Thanks for your response. The FSA ti ISIS bb will not stop returning to slop city no matter how hard I tighten it. I will send it back but I do not know how long the turn around time will be so that is why I bought the Shook. Happy Memorial Day! |
| Are they the same bolts as the FSA ISIS, something like M15? | tankhead10 May 27, 2002 10:30 AM | | |
| The tool is really two in one, but it comes and is listed as a.. | AZ-X May 27, 2002 10:34 AM | | single tool. Does that make sense? :o)
Shook's American Classic BB uses M15 bolts, just like Shimano XTR and the new splined Es-70BB uses. The Ti FSA BB uses something smaller, but your cranks may have come with M15 bolts! Check with your LBS if you don't want to contact FSA. I would just call them to make sure. |
| You are correct sir!!!! | tankhead10 May 27, 2002 10:52 AM | | I checked the FSA ISIS crank bolts that came with the BB and they have M14 stamped on them. The crank bolts that came with the cranks(self extracting I believe) are too large for the hole so I am assuming that they are the correct size. Thanks again! |
| How long after the order did you get the goods from Shook? | tankhead10 May 27, 2002 10:58 AM | | Did they send it out promptly? |
| Yes. Now that they have a couple of hundred in stock... | AZ-X May 27, 2002 11:27 AM | | You should get it within a week. I would actually call their toll-free number tomorrow morning to verify that they received the order. They will upgrade your shipping for you as well if you ask and pay for it.
Let us know how it works out! |
