Extralite Group Purchase!!!(9 posts)

Extralite Group Purchase!!!AZ-X
May 27, 2002 6:28 PM
OK people, I will be making an order directly to Extralite for a few parts this week and, after some email conversations with some of our fellow weight weenies, I have decided to organize a group purchase to save all of us costs on shipping the items from Italy to North America. I am more than happy to include our friends in Canada as well (a Canadian is already on board with a seatpost request...).

Please refer to Extralite's US Pricelist for what you'd like to order: http://www.extralite.com/usa/pricelist.htm .

Here is a link to most of the product descriptions: http://www.extralite.com/usa/Products/compo.html .

I also have pictures of "The Head" 81g headset and the "UltraStem" 108g MTB stem upon request.

Please remember that these prices are in US DOLLARS! Sergio Riva is very good at returning email, so if you have any questions about availability of a certain item in a specific size, length or color, please feel free to email him directly at studioriva@extralite.com .

Once I have a good accounting of all the parts that will be ordered, I will contact Extralite and find out what our shipping cost will be. It will most likely be a large box or container for everything which we will split the cost for equally. I will then add $8.00US for shipping via US Priority Mail w/insurance and delivery confirmation to your various locations. Please be aware that these terms do not include wheelsets and frames.

I would really like this to go off without a hitch if at all possible and, for that to happen, we will need only people who are 100% COMMITTED to making their purchase or it will spoil the plan for everyone! I will need to take payment in advance after finding out how many committed orders will be placed. Many have dealt with me on this site and on Ebay and I always deliver.

I will not take any payments until we know how many committed orders there are, for what parts and how much shipping will cost from Italy.

If any are interested, please email me at kadim@xytechnologies.com with your order list (remember size, length and color where necessary!) and any further questions. Shipping directly from Extralite is pretty quick and should only take 10-12 business days from the order placement date. We have to make this order by the end of this week--so I have to have all the firm commitments by Friday and all the money to place the order by Monday, June 3rd. I already have two people ordering The Posts and I'm looking forward to any more of you who would like to join us!

Thanks!

I just need some parts and thought that I would help a few fellow weightweenies out and save on shipping in the process.

Thanks!

will only be charged $4.00US from me to you once the parts arrive. You will still be responsible for part of the Italy to US shipping. Just trying to make it fair. Thanks!
Here are some pics of a few parts that aren't on the site, justAZ-X

The only picture I could find was the heavier embroidered "pin-up girl" saddle.
As far as I know, the carbon saddle won't be available until...AZ-X

sometime next month or in July. Sorry! I will email them today to ask for an availability update.
Someone asked about the shipping from Europe...AZ-X

Just to give you an idea, the price to ship just an individual headset is $15.00 US. I am hoping to bring the price down to $6.00 US or less per person from Italy--so the more people involved, the better it will be for everyone.
