Which one is a better all-round tire for hard to semi-loose conditions but dry?
as long as it's dryjw25

the pythons are probably it. I've run a Twister rear, and it's pretty good for the skinny width, but traction in really loose stuff disappears. I don't quite trust them up front, but cornering in the rear is impressive for the knobby size and placement.
The Mosquitos are decent all-rounders, but again, the small knobs seem to limit traction in the loose. Hardpack and mud performance is very nice, and the wide casing adds flotation through sand.
I like Pythons as all-rounders, but the pressure seems to be touchy. I run 40 psi rear, 38 front to prevent pinching (weigh 145 on a hardtail), and 2 psi over means a significant loss of traction in the corners.
