wow!i sent an e-mail to doug FSA USA today and 3 hours later i got a reply from him and a reply from FSA europe.
doug admits that there is a problem with a batch of the ultimax extreme ti bb and he apologised, he is going to send my lbs a new bb and chainset,i'm assuming that there will still be the 1 mm gap between the crankarm and bb but as i've said before as long as the bulk of the arm is home i'm not worried (i've still ordered the bill shook bb)
I believe that if you get a faulty product from someone then they ought to be given the chance to put it right so we shall see, but so far i'm impressed with there desire to rectify,i'll keep you posted.

As much as there has been the unavailablity of products issues, and now the bearing problems with the ti bb, Doug from FSA is consistantly there to respond and offer support for any and all problems one might encounter. I am sure that he will do whatever it takes to make it right. I challenge others to do the same.
That's when he bothers to reply to emails...DeeEight

or remembers to do so. Several on here have reported emails to him
going unanswered for weeks, and promised email updates from him never
occuring.
