I'm using Wildgipper Comp S lights right now and they work really well:Light, low rolling resistince, dug in well on out off saddle climbs, works well pretty much on all conditions (even mud) with one exception. On the descents with loose dirt or gravel with tight turns, I need more knobs on the sides. I was thinking of Continental Explorer Pros or Panaracer Fire XC Pros 1.8s or any other suggestions. I just want to have another tire on my arsenal for these course conditions.

Thanks
go for the Schwalbe Jimmy!Max

Jimmies, certainly the skinny ones, aren't a top notch gravel tire. Fire XC Pro 1.8"'s are probably a bit to slim for that, too

The best gravel tire I've used is Conti's Explorer. It isn't the best for mud, but does adequately. If you're willing to slightly compromise on gravel grip for more wet terrain ability, try a Michelin Front S / XLS combo.
