thier booth says something about a "lightened x rocker" something or another......i'm about to buy a new frame....should I insist on 2003 if there is a price break to be had on a 2002? Anyone know the skinny on any real differences?

is that the only difference between a 2002 & 2003 is in lightening up of the rocker......a savings of under 10 grams. The changes are already incorportaed in the current production models so if you order now you will be getting the changes anyway.
Don't quote me on this 100% but I am in the procees of trying to by a new Racer X frame and this is my understanding from conversations with Titus and Hammerhead bikes.

The '03 will come standard with the "box section" at the base of the chainstays (like in the picture). This supossedly makes the ride noticably stiffer. This option was only available by special order on '02 bikes. Hope this helps.
