This guy is a real tool. I emailed him about his weight claim and this was his reply.

"Take a good look at the picture, as it sits it is twenty pounds or less, all components are not on the bike."

So you see, all you doubters out there. He wasn't lying about the weight. He just forgot to mention the fact that he's selling an incomplete bike

Like I said, what a tool. This is one guy I would love to see everyone bid it up to about $3000 and then everyone cancell their bids.
That would be fun!Tim in Wi

But would it qualify as conspiracy?

Anyways, he is still full of crap. Here is a simple run-down of the pictured items...

Trek Y Carbon frame ~2700 grams
ZZYZX Fork ~2500 grams
"Revokes" Spinergy wheelset ~1900 grams
Tires ~1500 grams
Tubes ~300 grams
Crankset/BB ~800 grams
Drivetrain/Bar/Stem/Post/Saddle/headset/brake levers/chain/cables ~1700 grams
Flat pedals ~300 grams

Total of 11,700 grams
or 25.77 lbs

Those weights give him the benefit of the doubt as well. And you must remember, he originally listed it at under 15lbs, then changed the auction later.

Those are some "generous" numbers, Tim...SgtKarj
