Lots of feedback on Mich Comp S Lites, Cont Expl/Twister here. But any one have experience with Exception Series Maxxis, advertised weights are pretty light. The MIMO, High Roller or the TT models? Thanks.

I've got a Maxxis Mobster 2.1 & Highroller 2.1 eXCeption series tires in my garage. I had them on my Trek 8500 and must say they are very nice. However, in good Maxxis fashion the Highroller is not sized well, it's more of a 1.9. The Mobster is a generous 2.1. Ride eXCeptional (pun intended). Light (especially the Highroller @ 465) and grippy. Just as good if not better than my Fire XC Pro & Trailblaster combo. Only reason I didn't keep them on is the group I ride with has a grassroot deal with another tire co. If you decide you want a set let me know, I'll give you a hella deal on mine. They retail for @ 45.00 each. I'd let them go as a set for 50.00 + shipping. Hope this helps.
