| No problemo | Tim in Wi Oct 31, 2002 8:08 AM | | I did get your emails, and replied. You said you were going to try and machine them down right? Or do I have the wrong person?
Anyways, the spindles were made in spec with Version 1 of the pedal which used a rubber O-ring for the inboard seal. The new version used a larger hard plastic seal and they removed the "step" from the axle. Two solutions: Remove the hard plastic seal and replace with an O-ring, which is available at any hardware store. OR, the new seal has a inner lip, which can be removed with a exacto-knife. Simply make the inner diameter of this seal slightly bigger, and it will work.
I assume this is the problem you are speaking of. If there is any other problem with them, just return them to me and I will send out another pair.
Thanks!
