Anybody know the real weight of marzocchi's 2002 atom race 80mm with ecc? Marzocchi says 3.5lbs, but I doubt that. Anybody know the real weight? Also, do you know how much the springs weigh? I was thinking of converting it to air down the line or make it one side spring the other air.
THANKS!

A little over 4lbs. I have it written down somewhere, something like 4.08lbs if I remember correctly. Not sure off the top of my head how much the springs weigh, but I could check.

Thanks Larry, If you could find out the weight of the springs, id really appreciate it. If its any trouble at all to find that out, then dont bother. I am just debating if I should change it to a air fork or not for the weight savings. I keep saying to myself "would saving a 1/2 pound really going to make a differance??"
Thanks again,
Josh

I weighed a couple of 80mm sets of Marzocchi springs. They were 125-135g per set.
