as the welded on gussets have been done away with, replaced by Giant forming the down tube into the shape of a gusset hydraulically (the marketeers have named it "fluid forming" ). Giant claims it is just as strong, and eliminates a potential fatigue related failure point. I may have my hands on a frame in the next few weeks, (although I have an order in for a Team frame, If it can be swung by the LBS ) as a replacement for my cracked '00 NRS 1.
XTC Team frame....Spottydog

I have a 2001 XTC Team NRS with lightened linkages replicating the design on the prototype Team carbon frames + all Ti hardware which I shall be listing on e bay in the next week. It has only been ridden 12 x times ( less than 350 miiles) If you are interested email me for photos & further info/weight etc. I am in the UK but shipping anywhere is no problem
thanks for the offer Spotty...farmer rick

but I will be receiving a new frame as a warranty replacement, and the LBS is trying to have it upgraded to a Team frame for me (plus a probable cash adjustment, which I am prepared to pay ).
BTW, from memory your bike is either a small or medium, isn't it? (I remember you posting the build a while back), as I use a large.
